Instructors

Jason Weed

Jason got started as a photographer in 2003 and began using software like the Gimp (cost: free), Bibble (cost: free), Autostitch (cost: free).  If you can see a trend here, you can see that Jason likes free software and always looks for the free way out first.  He continues to push himself further through his teaching efforts with APW and can’t seem to get enough time behind the lens.  He continues to use (mostly) free software like the Gimp, Autostitch, and Adobe Lightroom.

Of the two instructors Jason is the one who is more passionate about wildlife / outdoor photography because he doesn’t like his “subjects” to talk back to him.

Daniel “Ducky” Hauer

Ducky’s passion lies more with human interaction.  If he can’t tell you how and where to stand and ask you how you’re feeling he gets a little lost.  Ducky runs his own portrait studio and loves taking pictures of people.
